In Wyoming, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are among the protected park landscapes that provide irreplaceable outdoor recreation opportunities and preserve America’s history and heritage. Our national parks, along with national forests and other public lands support world-renowned wildlife, draw millions of visitors, and power thousands of made-in-Wyoming jobs.

Unfortunately, our national parks and public lands are under serious threat. Extreme federal budget and staffing cuts are already undermining the health of our parks and public lands. And now, a growing push to transfer or sell these lands off could permanently erase what makes this place so special.

Everyone who loves our national parks and public lands should speak up for them.

TAKE ACTION

We need the Wyoming delegation and all members of Congress to restore funding, stop the cuts, and reject any attempt to privatize America’s public lands. Our wildlife, economy, and outdoor heritage depend on it.

Wyoming: Grand Teton National Park

From the snowcapped peaks of the Teton Range to the mighty, winding Snake River, Grand Teton National Park preserves some of our country’s most incredible scenery. The park is home to glacier-carved lakes, a historic district of weathered buildings made by 19th century Mormon homesteaders, and wildlife ranging from the tiny pika to the great grizzly bear.

Oppose the House reconciliation bill

Our senators can still save our public lands from the House's disastrous bill, but we must urge them to act now and oppose it.
